Isaac Sharp – 2017 Christmas Charity
The holiday season has arrived. For many of us, that means time with family, warm fires, and gifts. However, there are many in our Greater Nashville community who aren’t so lucky. Our city is home to one of the largest communities of homeless and underprivileged youth in the country.
So this year, I want to do something to give back to these kids who deserve to feel warm and loved. My version of this classic Christmas song is now available for download in exchange for any donation amount you choose to contribute. I’m using all the proceeds from this single to buy gifts for low-income youth served by The Bridge Ministry.
The Bridge Ministry is well-established in Middle Tennessee, known for their care of homeless families who gather under the Jefferson Street bridge for weekly church services on Tuesday nights. I’m joining them during their “Bridge to Christmas” service on December 19 to distribute food, clothes, and toys, including the items I’m able to purchase with this fundraiser. I know many donors have concerns about where their money actually goes once it’s given, so I’m filming my whole journey to share on social media along the way.
I’m really excited about this campaign, but I need some help spreading the word. So I’m asking you to do two things:
- Download the song! Donate the amount you feel led to provide, and you’ll immediately receive the link to the song.
- Share this page on your social media accounts and tag me @iamisaacsharp so others can contact me and find all the information they need.
Thank you for your help! And make sure you follow me on Facebook and Instagram to see my video updates.
